Yara Shahidi attended the 2018 Emmy Awards on Monday night in Los Angeles, California wearing a delicate pink gown by Gucci.

The star was all smiles in the dress that featured pink and silver crystal embellishments and an oversized flower that gathered at her midsection. The dress was feminine, light, and looked beautiful on the Black-ish actress.

Her makeup set off the whole feminine and soft look. It’s like an elevated version of the nude look that everyone has been sporting. The monochromatic pink ensemble looks great with the matching makeup. She’s also embracing all her beauty and rocked her unibrow on the red carpet. Keep on reading below and learn how to recreate this effortless beat.

First, start with a clean face. Personally, I love Urban Skin Rx’s Clean And Glow Cleanser ($32.00, UrbanSkinRx.com). The facial cleanser leaves your skin feeling refreshed and smooth. If you have some stubborn eye makeup from the night before, try Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Micellar Water Facial Cleanser ($6.49, Target.com). This product gets even the most stubborn makeup off!

After the facial cleanser, you’re going to need a primer so your makeup can lay perfectly on your skin. My all-time favorite is Smashbox Photo Finish ($39.00, Sephora.com). Too Faced Hangover Face Primer pumps moisture back into your face which is perfect for dry and oily skin ($28.90, Nordstrom.com).

Shahidi gave us a soft glow and natural looking makeup. You can use a NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, which also includes SPF 30 ($45.00, NARScosmetics.com) if you are looking for minimal coverage. If you are looking for a little heavier coverage than a BB cream, but still not full coverage, I’d go with Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation ($34.00, Sephora.com). Shahidi wore Bobbi Brown Longwear Weightless Foundation with SPF 15 ($46.00, BobbiBrownCosmetics.com) and finished with Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in Golden Orange ($42.00, BobbiBrownCosmetics.com).

The eyes really created this look and I loved how Shahidi’s makeup artist, Emily Cheng, diversified the usage of her makeup kit. Instead of using traditional eyeshadow, she used Bobbi Brown Luxe Matte Lipstick in Burnt Cherry ($37.00, NeimanMarcus.com) for the eyes, lips and cheeks. Who is to say lipstick is only for the lips?!

If you want to create a pink makeup look, you can also use Urban Decay Cosmetics Backtalk Palette ($46.00, UrbanDecay.com). The palette was inspired by their soft pink lipstick ($18.00, UrbanDecay.com) in the same name. The best part about this beauty palette is that it also comes with four blushes that you can use as eyeshadow or highlighter as well.

While Shahidi wore Bobbi Brown Cosmetics lipstick, you can shop Black-owned, vegan lipstick line The Lip Bar. Check out the shade Curlfriend ($13.00, TheLipBar.com) for a nudish pink. I also love Trustfund Beauty lipstick in K Bye ($22.00, TrustFundBeauty.com).

Beauties, this blush pink makeup is great to help you transition into fall and is perfect for all white, pink, and gray looks. Will you be trying out this look? Tell us in the comment section.
