The other day, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz celebrated their eighth year anniversary, commemorating the occasion on social media. And in the comments, people were still calling her a home wrecker.

For those who aren’t familiar with the story, producer Swizz Beatz married MashondaTifrere in 2004. Their son, Kasseem Dean Jr. was born two years later in 2006. In 2008, the couple announced their separation. They finalized their divorce in May of 2010. Swizz Beatz married a pregnant Alicia Keys later that year.

Feel how you feel. But I think it’s worth noting that Mashonda, the woman who was actually in the relationship, doesn’t harbor those type of feelings anymore. In fact, she’s turned the breakup with her ex-husband into some pretty lucrative endeavors. She wrote a book called Blend: The Secret to Co-Parenting and Creating a Balanced Family about her family’s co-parenting journey. If you doubt that she and Alicia are really making it work, just know that Keys wrote the foreword.

And now, she reportedly has a new television deal in the works. According to theJasmineBrand, the new series will help families co-parent and foster strong relationships within blended families.

Sources say the still untitled show will be similar to OWN’s “Iyanla Fix My Life,” with Mashonda helping families who have struggled to co-parent together.

The source said, “Publicly, Mashonda went through a lot and she’s come out on the other side having not only a better relationship with Alicia and Swizz, but their son has benefitted. She was to help other parents and families who are going through the same thing.”

The show is set to feature other celebrities who find themselves co-parenting as well, like Malik Yoba and Misa Hylton, the stylist who shares a son with Diddy.
