Conrad Murray Gets Four Years For Michael Jackson’s Death

Dr. Conrad Murray was sentenced to four years in prison today, after being convicted of involuntary manslaughter earlier this month for the death of Michael Jackson.

Dr. Murray will serve his sentence behind the bars of a county jail rather than state prison, and already many are speculating he could be let out on early release if the county jail system reaches capacity, according to an article in the LA Times.

Still, many are feeling like justice has been served as best it can for the tragic death of the King of Pop June 25, 2009.

    He was sentenced to the max due only to the fact that it was MJ and a highly public case.

    IMO, the only person to blame for Michael Jackson’s death is Michael Jackson. Yes, it is still devastating that he is not here, but it’s not like Murray forced Jackson to take anything. It is a sad situation all around but in the end I just hope MJ can finally rest in peace now.

      I agree with you on Michael Jackson’s death being his own fault. Conrad Murray was just greedy is all, IMO. That’s how he got caught up in it – he just did it for the money is all!
