(Chicago Sun Times) — Three years after Mayor Daley expressed interest in bringing Parisian-style bike sharing to Chicago, a privately funded pilot program is starting here.
Chicago B-cycle launches Friday with 100 bikes at six downtown stations — including Daley Plaza and the Museum Campus. Residents and tourists who register with B-cycle can rent bikes for errands or recreation, and then return them to a “B-station.”
