(Black Web 2.0) –When the Haiti earthquake hit earlier this year, people all over the world took used text messages to donate money to the people of Haiti. The campaign was a success as The Red Cross alone reported more than $32 million collected, one $10 donation per text message at a time. That was an example of how technology can be used to distribute aid in the wake of a crisis. Take it a step further and in addition to the funds sent via cell phone, what if the cell phone itself was the aid?
