If you’ve been on the Internet for more than five minutes in your life, then chances are, you’ve heard about people saying that rappers/actors Lil Mama and Bow Wow look exactly alike. The running joke is that they’re actually the same person, hence the reason you’ve never seen them in the same room together or hanging out at the same industry events:

It’s kind of funny when you really think about it (and realize they do share some similarities in features). But being visually compared to a man, and vice versa, could be offensive, and the Internet has had a habit of trying to pick on both rappers for some time, so some people might not mean it to be a harmless joke.

However, in an interview with HipHollywood, Lil Mama said she agrees that she and Bow Wow look alike, and actually thinks they should use such comparisons to their benefit by collaborating on a project.

“When people say it, I don’t get offended because he’s not a bad-looking person, and I see it myself,” she said. “If it was something where somebody was just being mean, I’d be like ‘Whatever!’ But I think he looks good.”

“I always say, ‘Let’s do something together,'” she added. “Even the Freaky Friday thing that Chris [Brown] and Lil Dicky did, I think they stole our idea. I thought that would have been dope. But we’re definitely going to work together in the future. We are going to work together. I think he’s so handsome. I can’t see myself dating him because that would be vain. I mean, he’s fine!”

For the record, Bow Wow has said that he also thinks the memes about them are hilarious.

“It’s something I usually see come across the feed,” he said while visiting TRL recently. “She’s always saying we look alike and that we’re never in the same room at the same time [laughs]. I’m aware of it. It’s funny and you just laugh at it.”
