Judge Rejects Restraining Order Against 50 Cent, Not Sure Teairra Mari Was Engaged In A Sexual Act In The Photo
Tearirra Mari named 50 Cent in her revenge porn suit. If you’ll recall, images of singer Teairra Mari, engaged in a sexual act, were posted on her Instagram page. She alleged that her ex boyfriend Akar Abdul-Ahad hacked into her page and posted the picture. Rapper 50 Cent, who Teairra claims is friends with rapper 50 Cent, also posted the images on his personal Instagram page.
As a part of her lawsuit, Teairra Mari, with the help of her lawyer Lisa Bloom, filed for a restraining order against 50 Cent.
According to TMZ, the order was to prevent 50 from sharing the image again. But a judge denied the motion. Bloom said the judge denied the motion “because she was not convinced that the photo 50 Cent posted, with ejaculate on our client’s face, showed her ‘engaging’ in a sexual act.”
Bloom said the judge also wasn’t convinced 50 would post the photo again. Bloom said, “Common sense dictates that a photo of a woman with ejaculate on her face clearly depicts a sex act, and is the kind of humiliation the revenge porn law was designed to ban.”
Akbar will face the judge later this month.
