Dr. Greg Lunceford Denies Cheating On Quad, Requests Spousal Support
Weeks ago, we learned not only were Quad Webb-Lunceford and her husband Dr. Greg Lunceford were getting a divorce but that it was going to be a contentious split.
The last we talked about the estranged couple, we reported the fact that Dr. Greg accused Quad of taking items from their home without telling him. And she filed a restraining order against Greg for cruel treatment.
And in typical messy, high profile divorce fashion, it’s Greg’s turn to file documents. According to theJasmineBrand, in them, he agrees that the marriage is irretrievably broken but he not only denies the cruel treatment, he states that he did not cheat.
“Respondent further denies that he is guilty of adultery committed after the marriage between the parties.”
Dr. Greg is also requesting spousal support.
“Respondent is entitled to an award of periodic and rehabilitative spousal support.”
Given that Dr. Greg was a doctor and the perceived breadwinner, I was a bit confused by this one. And had to do a little research.
According to DivorceSupport.com, rehabilitative support “is alimony or financial support provided for a short period of time, allowing the receiving spouse to get adjusted, establish him or herself financially. This type of alimony will allow the divorced spout time to “rehabilitate” him or herself and become completely self-supporting.”
We’ll see what the judge has to say about that.
What do you make of Dr. Greg requesting support and denying the cheating allegations?
