(WSJ) — As demand has increased, several hospitals in New York are offering outpatient hospital care late into the night or on Saturdays to alleviate weekday crowding.
New York University Langone Medical Center this month begins offering elective joint-replacement surgery one Saturday a month. Earlier this year, the hospital expanded its evening and weekend hours for mammography, MRIs and CT scans, radiation and echocardiograms.
