Before the hashtag #MeToo came to define our current landscape, there was Terry Crews, the lone Black male to come forward with a story of being sexually harassed. Since then, the movement has grown exponentially with increasing numbers of women sharing their tales and men being forced to pay for their actions. But while Crews received support far and wide for his courageous act, the actor told us there have been dozens of men who’ve reached out to him and opened up about their own experiences of being violated, but stating they could never come forward and tell the world.

Check out our full interview with Crews as he discusses the #MeToo movement and its place in the Black community as well as the overlooked objectification of Black men and what he sees happening in Hollywood next.
