“We Are Grown Women With Families” RHOA’s Kim Zolciak Attempts To Squash The Beef With Nene Leakes
Isn’t it weird when a person conveniently admonishes you to end a beef with them when they’re the one who not only started it but continued to drag it along in the first place?
That’s what happened last night when The Real Housewives of Atlanta guest star Kim Zolciak posted her version of an apology to peach-holder Nene Leakes on Instagram.
In the post, Kim doesn’t take responsibility for spreading rumors that Nene parked in a handicapped spot illegally or that she had cockroaches in her home. Instead, she says that she’s “sorry for what happened” and that she will “…no longer engage with [Nene] on social media and perpetuate the hate. I am asking you to do the same. We are grown women with families. Enough is enough.” Oh, and that she could sue her if she wanted to. What kind of apology is that?
I am so sorry for what has happened @neneleakes We both know the truth, we both know that if I wanted to, I could have a law suit for the lies you have spewed, tweeting out fake texts, implying I am racist, attacking me physically, claiming my daughter tweeted negative about you and your home, we both know these are lies. I have reacted to it publicly and for that I am sorry. I should have risen above it I personally will no longer engage with you on social media and perpetuate the hate. I am asking you to do the same. We are grown women with families. Enough is enough. I want us to move on If you continue this, it will be because you are attempting to stay on the show and stay relevant and that’s on you.
Kim’s response came after Nene posted a selfie of her, Kim and host Andy Cohen with a caption that included a mysterious message about her wanting to “keep it 100, but sometimes you have to just keep it bout 75!” She goes on to say that she “… knew working with [Kim] would be a mess and I’ve said it over & over & over again to ALL of my higher ups but what happens, i get reprimanded! I’m the bad guy! I wish i could speak so much more freely but it’s best not too [sic].”
I really wanna keep it 100 but sometimes you have to just keep it bout 75! So many things happen behind the scenes that you guys just never get to know or see. I knew working with her would be a mess and I’ve said it over & over & over again to ALL of my higher ups but what happens, i get reprimanded! I’m the bad guy! I wish i could speak so much more freely but it’s best not too. Sometimes you just have to let people see things for themselves which is what happened here! I’ve been called everything in the book and painted so many different colors i have to wonder if I’m still black. Kim loves to push buttons, lie, talk shit, insult, then become a victim when she’s called out on her shit! Most people would love for me to be the bully but the only bully here is Kim & her plastic surgeon! Bye wax figure👋🏾 i saw who you was a longggg time ago! Thankful for YOU, they have editing #priviledgedpeaceofshit TUNE INTO #RHOA 8pm TONIGHT
What does Nene mean about being “reprimanded?” And what tea can’t she spill about working with Kim?
It is sad to see that the two have drifted so far apart. As the vets of this Housewives franchise, their “double trouble” shenanigans contributed to how popular the series became back in the day. But now, they’re at such odds with each other that I doubt they could ever repair their friendship.
And next week’s final chapter of The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion seems to give us more insight on how they’re really at the point of no return. Check out a sneak peek of next week’s show below.
