Cardi B’s Rep Is Supposedly Telling People The Rapper’s “Three to Four Months Pregnant”
“Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.” It seems like there’s a lot of smoke surrounding Cardi B being pregnant. The rumor just won’t let up, and according to TMZ, one of her reps confirmed that the “Bodak Yellow” raptress is indeed with child, dishing that she is somewhere in her second trimester.
TMZ reported that over Super Bowl weekend in Minneapolis, Cardi B performed at a Maxim magazine party. After she wrapped up her performance, she was given the option to return to her VIP room where “alochol was flowing.” One of Cardi B’s reps then told a a venue staffer that Cardi preferred to hang in the area close to the stage away from a “party atmosphere” and drink water. The rep went on to say that the “Bartier Cardi” chart-topper was, in fact, three to four months pregnant.
Now, this is interesting because this definitely fuels the pregnancy rumor fire when you break down the timeline of things. The first time this rumor gained real legs was on Feb. 2 when social media pointed out that the 25-year-old had a little pooch at one of her events. One user commented, “Did I miss a pregnancy announcement?”
And the next day, on Feb. 3, is when Cardi performed at The Maxim magazine party, which is when TMZ’s sources claim they found out about the Bronx starlet supposedly being pregnant.
Whether this is true or not will only be confirmed by Cardi B herself. She has responded to rumors of being pregnant by saying that she is just getting fat. She has also been very frank about her life in general, and in an interview with E! host Giuliana Rancic at The Grammys last month, she said, “Somebody always saying that I’m pregnant every two weeks. So it’s just like, if ya’ll wanna know, ask me, I’ll tell ya.”
Well, she has been asked, and she has said no repeatedly. Even if Cardi is expecting, I don’t blame her for wanting to keep it under wraps. She recently shared that as new star, she feels like her life no longer belongs to her.
“One negative thing is that, even though I’m happy, I feel like I was a little bit happier two or three years ago when I had less money,” she said. “I had less people who had opinions about my life. I felt like my life was mine. Now I feel like I don’t even own my life. I feel like the world owns me.”
