Taraji P. Henson Drops Her Manager Amid Allegations Of Sexual Misconduct
Earlier this month we shared the news that Hollywood manager, Vincent Cirrincione, connected to both Halle Berry and Taraji P. Henson was accused of sexual assault by nine actresses of color.
These women say Cirrincione used his professional relationships with Berry and Henson as a way to gain credibility before ultimately taking advantage of them.
When the allegations were made public, Berry stepped forward expressing her outrage regarding the allegations against her former manager.
Henson issued a similar statement via her Instagram page as well.
At the time of the IG post, Henson was additionally represented by Pam Sharp, the longtime girlfriend of Vincent Cirrincione.
In defense of himself after the allegations were made public, Cirrincione said that he had affairs but that the encounters were consensual.
“I have never used favors, sexual or otherwise, as a reason for managing anyone. I apologize to these women, my past and present partner, my clients and employees for the pain this is bringing them.”
Later, Cirrincione shut down the management firm that bore his name.
Days after the news broke and she issued her statement, Taraji has reportedly found new representation.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Henson signed with publicity firm 42West.
The firm boasts clients like Rihanna, Queen Latifah, Pharrell Williams, Penelope Cruz and more.
