Reconnect With Old Friends
We definitely have a love-hate sort of relationship when it comes to social media. But there’s no doubt that Facebook and Instagram shine when it comes to tracking down old friends. Whether it was your home girl from college who you haven’t spoken to in a while or an old co-worker who is making moves abroad, social media allows us to keep an eye on the fabulous journeys of people we know. So why not use this to your trip advantage by connecting with an old friend in the new, awesome place they call home? We’re not saying you need to stay with them and do the sleepover thing, but why not use that acquaintances as a bit of travel inspiration. Plus, it’ll be nice to know a familiar face is just around the corner as you set out on exploring the city and all it has to offer.
