#HistoryByUs: A Look At The Lesser Known Stories Of Black History Told By Those Making It

February 9, 2018  |

There are some Black History icons you have to know to simply hold on to your Black card. And then there are other pioneers you wouldn’t know unless someone told you about them. Thankfully, AT&T is shedding light on the latter with its History By Us series telling the stories of lesser-known Black History icons via modern-day barrier breakers.

In the weekly video series, YouTube sensations Denzel Dion, Khadi Don, and Maya Washington, as well as up-and-coming filmmakers Nefertite Nguvu and Gabrielle Shepard, will share the stories of these important, yet overlooked, historical figures throughout the month of February in honor of Black History Month.

Check out a sneak peek of series above. For the full videos visit att.com/28days.
