According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, Jesse Williams’s estranged wife Aryn Drake-Lee is accusing the actor of violating their custody agreement in a major way.
Their agreement states that neither party can have their children around any new romantic partners until six months into the relationship. She claims that he introduced their two kids to his new girlfriend, taking them to her house since October. The kids, Sadie and Maceo, reportedly call the woman “Mama C,” which is a big no-no for Drake-Lee.
She also notes in the court documents that Williams took their kids to Big Bear Mountain (we’re assuming the one in California) for a short getaway and the new girlfriend was present.
She also accuses him of being lax about other things. He reportedly brought cupcakes to Sadie’s school to help her celebrate her fourth birthday and that was reportedly against the school’s rules, as they pick a day in each month to allow the children to celebrate their birthdays together.
By doing this, Williams put Drake-Lee in a position where she claims Sadie believed her mom purposely missed out on the cupcake party. As she put in the court documents, the 4-year-old was “mad at me for not attending her birthday party.” She says this habit of doing thing outside of the agreed upon schedule, including giving her little notice before coming to pick up the kids, is becoming a problem. She is requesting that a judge enact a more fixed, fair schedule for when he has his visits and how he has them.
This issue follows the news that the spousal support Williams pays has been increased from $33,000 to $50,000. According to TMZ, the increase was ordered after Drake-Lee made the request based on the Grey’s Anatomy star’s ability to pay. With the new payment agreement, she will also obtain half from his residual checks dating from 2012 to 2017, the length of time they were married. However, she has been made responsible for mortgage payments and expenses that are necessary on the home they once shared.
And as for the girlfriend being called “Mama C,” she goes unnamed in the court documents. However, considering that Williams was linked to actress Minka Kelly following his split from Drake-Lee, it sounds like there already may be someone new in the picture with whom he’s quite comfortable with. The last talk of the pair being an item was back in October when Kelly told detractors on social media who believed she’d broken up his marriage to “f–k off.” He’s been accused of taking the children to the unnamed girlfriend’s house since October.
