Gabrielle Union Is A Mom On A Mission In Breaking In Trailer
Move over Mary Jane! Gabrielle Union is fighting like a mother in the new trailer for her upcoming thriller, Breaking In.
The 45-year-old actress plays Shaun, a mom who takes her children with her to her father’s mansion to settle his estate following his unexpected passing. When they get there, they find out that the house is equipped with all sorts of extensive security measures, and for good reason. A group of individuals looking to invade the home and find her father’s safe are waiting for her when the family arrives. They lock her out, but keep her kids in.
While it initially looks like things are going to end badly, Shaun turns on survival mode and does everything in her power to save her kids who are being held hostage in the home. What ensues is a lot of butt-kicking and and the usual trailer lines: “I’m just a mom, you have no clue what I’m capable of.”
From there, Union gets to climbing, running, swinging and fighting to the tunes of Rihanna’s “Hard” to save her family.
The film is directed by James McTeigue and was written by Ryan Engel. Union’s co-stars include Billy Burke, Richard Cabral, Seth Carr and Aijona Alexus. The actress actually produced the movie alongside Will Packer for his Will Packer Productions imprint.
