Nene Leakes is arguably the best to ever do it when it comes to using reality TV as a springboard for tapping into other ventures. The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) veteran has used the notoriety gained from the Bravo show to branch out into acting, landing roles on The New Normal and Glee. She also starred in Cinderella and Chicago on Broadway, launched a clothing line, and reportedly got RHOA to pay her $1 million per season to stay on the show. And did we mention she looks better and better every year?
Nene has come a long way from the sandy brown locks she debuted on the first season of RHOA in 2008 and her dress and shoe game have come a remarkable way as we well. In honor of her 49th birthday today, we’re taking a look back at Nene’s transformation in the public eye over the last nine years.
