Rihanna’s uncle was caught selling knockoffs from his niece’s line in their homeland of Barbados. The Daily Mail reports that RiRi’s 53-year-old uncle, Leroy Fitzgerald Brathwaite, was arrested and appeared in court on Nov. 21st after charges were filed against him under the Fair Trading Commission Consumer Protection Act.

When the “Wild Thoughts” singer was back home in May, she noticed that fake FENTY x Puma merchandise was being sold in a Bridgetown store. She reported it to Puma and later found out that her uncle was a suspect after Puma investigated.

Brathwaite, who is also an artist who goes by De Warrior, is accused of selling fake t-shirts and slippers from the line. He’s set to appear back in court on Nov. 28th.

Rihanna has not yet addressed this claims publicly.
