For some time now, even before pictures surfaced of Wendy Williams on the beach in Barbados in a bikini that some were quite critical of, people have had a lot to say about the talk show host’s weight. She lost 50 pounds a few years back and has managed to keep the weight off. However, some think she’s shed too much weight and actually believe it played a factor in the 53-year-old fainting live on TV on Halloween.

But when addressed about these speculations about her weight loss, the former shock jock is not trying to hear it.
“They are so jealous!” Williams told AJ Calloway while speaking to Extra recently. “Excuse me, do I look too skinny? I weigh 145 pounds. I am sleek, lean, and living my life.”
She also denied claims that allegedly being underweight had something to do with Williams collapsing. She said that fainting isn’t uncommon, and following the incident, she received a clean bill of health. No bumps, no lumps, no bruising.
“Fainting is something that happens to people,” she said. “Best place to faint probably is on national TV, because all my doctors called — I didn’t even have to call them. They all called and kept late hours and worked around my schedule and stuff. I’m proud to say I did not have any pain when I got up. I was waiting for like three days. “Where’s the pain? Where’s the pain? Oh snap, no pain. Alright now!” And I don’t have a lump on my head, no headache, and I’m fine.”
So in case you were wondering about Williams’s health and her weight loss, she’s good. And as she told E! Online earlier this year, she’s loving the size she’s at now.
“I did it on my own and I love it because I no longer have to do that fight with clothing,” she said. “‘Wah, wah, wah, I don’t wanna wear sleeveless…does this make my butt look big?’ Those things get in the way of being a good host for the people.”
“This is as good as it’s going to get,” Williams added. “I’m not gonna fight my body anymore, I’ve lost the weight, I feel fantastic.”
